"Open day" on Polish ferry in Swinoujscie, Poland
Swinoujscie has convenient railway connection with North-Eastern corner of Germany (and probably with Berlin as well)...
Polferries' POMERANIA moored on the West bank of the river / port channel in Swinoujscie, Poland (the ship berths at ferry terminal on the East bank on a daily basis) will open decks for general public for a couple of hours (probably from noon till late afternoon / early evening) on Saturday, May 1, 2010. There will be access to the bridge for "sightseeing".
Today or very soon the decision will be announced on the result of privatisation process of Polferries. Reportedly, the only bidder in talks with Polish State Treasury (the owner of the company) was DFDS.
