Der brasilianische RoRo Containerfrachter INTREPIDO,IMO 8708517, ist vor Alang eingetroffen. Ende Juli lag er startklar zur Schleppreise vor Rio de Janeiro. Das Schwesterschiff INDEPENDENTE,IMO 8708529, ist offenbar schon im Frühjahr in Aliaga verschrottet worden, auch wenn mir dazu kein offizieller Report aufgefallen wäre. Jedenfalls wurde sie am 22.2.13 als Schleppanhangs im Mittelmeer gesichtet (siehe marinetraffic unter dem Namen PENDANT). Beide 1991/92 gebauten Schiffe gehörten bis zuletzt der Reederei Transroll und fuhren in Bareboat-Charter der Hamburg-Süd Tochter Alianca. Jedoch lagen sie zuletzt mehrere Jahre auf. Zwischenzeitliche Pläne, sie nach Instandsetzung noch einmal in Fahrt zu bringen, wurden wieder verworfen. Bei einem der beiden Schiffe war die Maschine halb ausgebaut.
